(Original story - Navy wages war on discrimination)
I am astonished that your Management feature, "Navy wages war on discrimination", has yielded not even one published dissenting view.
So a vociferous homosexual political activist has successfully gained the ear of military top brass with his emotively contrived patter. So the suffering of homosexuals in the Navy is so great that military efficiency and morale will improve only by a radical pro-homosexual shift in attitude and naval culture.
Yet surely the original reason for not allowing homosexuals into the military services was precisely to avoid such problems as these?
Just who is fooling whom in this farcical pantonmim? Fancy and grandiose awards aside, and not withstanding Vicki Jayne's gushing enthusiasm for the initiative, is there any chance of the naval top brass waking up before it is too late, and before more damage is done?
