Murder-accused Andre Gilling told a detective he was "riding a horse" during the attack on murder victim Stanley Waipouri, a High Court jury in Palmerston North heard yesterday. Officer in charge of the case, Detective Glenda Barnaby, told the trial about Gilling's demeanour as she questioned him at the police station in the hours after the brutal slaying on December 22, 2006.
