QNA was originally started in 1995 to provide an online news resource for New Zealand focusing on media and news stories of interest to the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender communities.

This site was originally part of nz.com glb site.

In 2001 the site moved to it current domain qna.net.nz and was relaunched with its current look in late 2004.

QNA is dedicated to update and accurate information so do let us know of any problems or errors on the site. Also please feel free to send us your press releases.
