2)TV Feature: Derek Stuart for his feature "A Stitch in Time", the story of the Quilt Project.
3)TV News: Lorelei Mason, One Network news for her close up piece on sex workers and condom use.
4)Radio: Elizabeth Alley and Jonathon Dennis for "A Day Without Art".
Highly commended in this category were Paul Bushnell's piece "The Last Dance" an interview with Michael Parmenter. Also commended were Steve Danby and Peter Wells for "Transiberian and Different Landscapes."
5)Open: Michael Parmenter for his one man show "A Long Undressing". judges were Ian Fraser and Kate Lesley who commented that this work was "Rich, dramatic, deeply moving and almost beyond classification. Highky commended were Scott Johnson and Bruce Kilmister for the "HERO Project" and Jonathon Smith for "HIV Walk for Life".
