Dr. Matt Wildbore, 45, died at his Auckland apartment on Friday.
Tributes are been paid to him for his work as an Auckland gay doctor during the 80s and 90s assisting many HIV positive gay men during the early years of the HIV/AIDS health crisis.

Matt Wildbore's funeral will be held in Rotorua at 1pm on Tuesday, at Osbourne's Funeral Parlour at 197 Old Taupo Road.
